DFID policy project: Poverty reduction and development in Cambodia: Enabling disabled people to play a role

Abstract

The research included an investigation of the scale, prevalence and causes of disability in Cambodia, and an analysis of the disability sector.

Recommendations include ways to improve data and information on disability, recognition of the importance of Inclusive Education as a key strategy to achieve education for all, and support for the development of linkages between mainstream health services and reahabilitation.
