Abstract

The purpose of the project was “Improved and cost effective methods for the control of weeds in floodplain rice production systems developed and promoted.” The project partnership, involving Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, International Rice Research Institute and Natural Resources Institute, UK, undertook work in farming communities in two areas of Bangladesh to develop and promote cost-effective rice weed management practices.
