Coral reefs: Ecosystems in crisis?

Abstract

Coral reefs are uniquely important biodiversity ‘hotspots’ which are becoming familiar to millions of visitors from countries such as the UK.

Although there are many educational resources which deal with terrestrial ecosystems such as tropical forests, there are few that deal with marine habitats such as coral reefs. This pack aims to support the study of coral reefs within AS/A2 Geography, but will also be of wider interest.
