Abstract

This is a report of our review of existing literature and data on sustainable public procurement in Brazil. The report format is aimed to speak to policy makers and NGOs as well as academics. Overall, the authors found that there was only limited previous research into sustainable public procurement so far, but that this was a growing trend, especially with the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics requiring extensive procurement.
