Abstract

The Comdis Cardiovascular Diseaase (CVD) Care Package contains guidelines and tools that can be easily adapted by health ministries, NGOs and private healthcare providers in low-to-middle-income countries. Among the documents included are a Case Management Desk Guide, a Health Educator Desk Guide, a Health Education Leaflet, treatment cards and register for CVD and diabetes for health workers to use in clinics, guidelines for diagnosing patients with cancer, a guide for running implementation planning workshops, and learning modules and a facilitors guide for training health workers in using the CVD Care Package.
