Abstract

The UVA Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project was initiated to provide alternative energy to unelectrified households in the districts of Badulla and Moneragala, in SE Sri Lanka. Background, financing, public-private partnerships, access to electricity, and livelihood benefits are summarized.
