Abstract

Bus accidents represent a significant component of all road fatalities and injuries in the Kingdom of Nepal. This paper describes the current operational environment of the bus sector in Nepal, the extent and likely causes of bus accidents and makes suggestions to reduce both the number of and severity of bus accidents in the future.
