Abstract
This document represents the final report of NRSP project R7408, \"Building consensus amongst stakeholders for management of natural resources at the Land Water Interface\", which aimed to develop and promote improved resource use strategies in coastal production systems and to disseminate techniques to incorporate stakeholder participation and consensus building in decision making and benefit sharing. The report describes how the project welded stakeholder participation, multi-criteria analysis and consensus-building techniques together in a \"Trade-off analysis\" and developed a manual of trade-off analysis techniques for natural resource managers.
