Abstract

This note provides advice to DFID staff on:
i. governance indicator best practice, and
ii. measuring the Value for Money of governance programmes

The annex provides suggested indicators for governance programming within the themes security and justice, civil service reform, elections, parliament support, political party support, tax/revenue, corruption, human rights, media, and empowerment and accountability.
