Abstract

The second BCURE-Harvard policy dialogue focused on environmental policy in India, and in particular on innovative strategies for using data to improve regulation. It was held on July 31, 2014 the University of Chicago Center in Delhi in collaboration with the Energy Policy Institute of Chicago (EPIC). The theme of the dialogue was “Economic Growth and Environmental Protection through Evidence-based Policy.” This workshop brought together leading regulators, industrialists and researchers to drive the creation of new environmental policy opportunities. The sessions covered Advanced monitoring systems, Information disclosure and Emissions trading.
