Assessment of farmers' knowledge and perception of Striga: The case of Mvumi Makulu and Chipanga 'A' villages in Dodoma District, Tanzania

Abstract

This paper attempts to evaluate farmers' and other stakeholders knowledge of Striga biology and management. It also assesses the usefulness of knowledge and factors influencing the application of knowledge as well as assessing learning tools for improving farmers' and other stakeholders' understanding of Striga biology.
