Abstract

An annotated bibliography on the subject of poverty and chronic poverty in Uganda is presented. The following factors relating to poverty are covered: education, health, national debt, policy perspective, measurement and characterisation of poverty, poverty trends, poverty in an institutional and governance context, gender aspects, credit accessibility, violence and conflict, service delivery, infrastructure, constraints to rural development, and HIV/AIDS experience and policy.
