Abstract

A review of literature on African Traditional Religion (ATR) and development to explain how ATR views certain concepts (such as social conflict, crime and justice, public ethics, wealth and poverty and gender) as related to development, how these concepts have evolved over time and how the religion underpins the social and cultural attitudes and behaviours of Africans.
