African Experience with Collaborative Graduate Programmes

This study captures some recent and existing African experiences of collaborative graduate programmes

Abstract

To support the process of Partnership for African Social and Governance Research’s programme design, it is essential to have a clear picture of the recent and existing experiences in African involving collaborative graduate programmes (and possibly undergraduate programmes).

This study consisted of a review of 3 such programmes that are housed at South African universities. It captures some recent and existing African experiences of collaborative graduate programmes; specifically University Science, Humanities and Engineering Partnerships in Africa (USHEPiA), LLM in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa and the Association of African Business Schools (AABS).
