Abstract

This project followed on from project R5653 and sought to complete the establishment of the main trials in Zimbabwe, make early assessments of genetic variation and promote the establishment of four more trial centres in Africa. It also had a socio-economic objective to assess the current and potential value of the acacias in small farmer systems in Zimbabwe and to produce a field guide to the acacias of the country.
