Abstract

In this report, IAVI applies the general Advance Market Commitments (AMCs) framework to the case of AIDS, proposing specific terms for an AIDS vaccine AMC, obtaining feedback from officials from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and estimating the social benefits of an AMC.
