Abstract

The purpose of this project was to refine understanding of the factors constraining the achievement of positive socio-economic outcomes in resettlement projects, as well as of the fair and effective participation of affected people in all phases of the resettlement process. This report outlines the two desk studies undertaken and their objectives, methodology, findings and dissemination of results.
