Abstract

This document summarizes 2008 estimates of public, philanthropic, and commercial investment in research and development (R&D) for AIDS vaccines. These estimates were generated through a collaborative project involving the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC), the Alliance for Microbicide Development (AMD), the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), and the UNAIDS Resource Tracking Unit.
