Abstract

This activity uses Makutano Junction and UK soap operas to explore both the meaning of “stereotype” and some of the possible effects of stereotyping. The webpage for the activity includes a document giving notes for UK teachers on how to conduct the classroom activity, and links to streaming and downloadable video clips from Makutano Junction.
