Abstract

This study is aimed at analysing and describing the context, actors and interventions and strategies related to social and political action for empowerment and accountability in Mozambique to help the identification of locally relevant research themes and projects as well as potential partners and stakeholders for the next phase of the programme in the country.

This scoping study was conducted as part of the inception phase for the DFID-funded Action for Empowerment and Accountability Research Programme (A4EA).
