The aim of the communication synthesis project is to develop, and make available: one (or more) evidence based framework for the management, monitoring and evaluation of communication for uptake promotion of DFID RNR research strategy, its programme and projects; and evidence based good practice in planning and implementing communication plans for DFID RNR Research Strategy projects. In the final phase of the RNRR programmes the focus has been on uptake and marketing and this is where the communication synthesis study has concentrated its work.
