A smarter approach to governance in Africa: Launching the APPP synthesis report
Abstract
The five-year Africa Power and Politics Programme (APPP) has produced a Synthesis Report bringing together the findings of research into which institutional patterns and governance arrangements work relatively well and which work relatively badly in providing public goods, merit goods and other intermediate conditions for successful development. This presentation was given at the launch event for the report.
