Former BEIS colleagues transferred to DSIT early, but former DCMS colleagues remained on legacy payroll systems until spring 2024, and DSIT did not hold delegated authority or complete records for IYA voucher and cash payments across those groups during 2023/24. As a result of these Machinery of Government transitions and split payroll arrangements, DSIT cannot provide an accurate, reliable data source for the 2023/24 return. We have sought Cabinet Office approval to submit a nil response for 2023/24, accompanied by an explanatory note on the payroll transition and resulting data gaps. |

This group is analagous to our standard SCS grades but we have delegated responsbility for their pay. In-year and end of year award amounts for the SCS Analogues aligned with the amounts set out in the SCS pay guidance. Only the SCS Analogue staff received end of year payments. We do not make end of year payments to our other delegated grades. The number of delegated grades receiving an award is greater than the headcount at 31 March 2024 as leavers are included in the award data throughout the financial year. |
