UK DEFENCE & SECURITY EXPORT STATISTICS FOR 2019

Guide to the dataset
These statistics are designated as Official Statistics, in accordance with the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 which requires compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.
The figures in this release are for calendar years and are updated and published annually. The Defence export figures are generated by UK Defence & Security Exports and cover a 10 year period (2010 to 2019). They count new Orders for UK Exports and Contracts for Rest of the World exports. Due to the complexities of the sector, a company called Frost & Sullivan has been commissioned to provide the Security figures, based on sales.
All figures are subject to revisions due to definitional and methodological changes that will be notified to users.
