THE NUMBER OF MULTIPLE CLAIMS AND JURISDICTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE MULTIPLE CLAIM CASES (MCC) ACCEPTED IN THE PERIOD

1 This represents the group of multiple claim cases (MCC) that were received in the reporting period. This is based upon the date that the first multiple claim was accepted within that mutiple claim group.
2 The total number of multiple claims acepted within the associated multiple claim case (MCC) group.
3 The number of jurisdictional complaints applied for (grounds for the claim).
4 These figures represents the number of unallocated jurisdictional complaints and is included in the "Other" category of the published statistics. This could be due to the vetting process to allocate the correct jurisdiction based on the grounds of the claim had yet to be undertaken, or the claim was withdrawn before the vetting process was complete and therefore the jurisdicion code was no longer required.
All data was taken from the Employment Tribunals Central database and as such is management information that is, provisional and subject to change.
Although care is taken when processing and analysing the data, the details are subject to inaccuracies inherent in any large-scale recording system, and is the best data that is available at the time of publication.
The data has not been checked against files held locally at Hearing Centres.
