| (1) Figures quoted for the Magistrates' Courts are for each Case where a relevant application was made/granted, rather than a count of defendants. Hence, where a defendant has more than one case for which the relevant offence/result code has been applied, each case will count separately. Also, to avoid double counting, where an Interim Order has been granted on more than one occasion, only the first instance of the grant has been counted (e.g. where an Interim Order was granted in September 2016 and subsequently a further Interim Order was granted in December 2016, and then again in February 2017, only the initial grant of the Interim Order in September 2016 will be shown in the tables above). |
| (2) Counts cases where the Libra Civil offence codes MS15501, MS15502, MS15503, MS15504 and/or Libra Result codes STRO, ISTRO, SATPO,SATPOA, SATPOI, SATPOV, STROV are recorded in the Magistrates' Courts. |
| (3) Every effort is made to ensure that the figures presented are accurate and complete. As a consequence, care should be taken to ensure data collection processes and their inevitable limitations are taken into account when data are used. |

| (8) Figures quoted for the Crown Court are a count of defendants where the Criminal Result code STPO is present. |
