The figures presented above relate only to the time spent as Board members.
When a civil servant moves from one department to another, it is customary for the exporting department to pay their salary at the current rate of pay until the end of the month of departure and the importing department pays in the month following at the appropriate salary along with any arrears.
1 The value of pension benefits accrued during the year is calculated as (the real increase in pension multiplied by 20) plus (the real increase in any lump sum) less (the contributions made by the individual). The real increases exclude increases due to inflation or any increases or decreases due to a transfer of pension rights

3 The figure quoted is for the period 29 February 2016 to 31 March 2016 and includes Parliamentary Counsel Allowance of £4,890. The full-year equivalent is in the range £175,000 – £180,000, which would include an allowance of £34,407 for specialist legislative drafting skills
4 The figure quoted is for the period 1 May 2015 to 31 March 2016. The full-year equivalent is in the range £90,000 – £95,000
