Technical problems with your online application

Get help if you:

  • are having problems making a payment to UKVI online or pending payments
  • need other technical support (for example with an error message on the online application)

If you are having problems entering your sponsor licence number, ask your sponsor to contact the business helpline to check the number is correct.

Email the online help team at ApplyOnlineE-Support@homeoffice.gov.uk.

You must include:

  • your name
  • your date of birth
  • what you are applying for (for example, a Student visa)
  • a description of the problem (include screenshots, if you can)
  • your unique application number (UAN)

You can find your UAN on emails from the Home Office about your application.

You’ll usually hear back within one working day.

If you’ve not had a response, check your email’s spam or junk folder before contacting UKVI again.
