Challenge a parking fine

Challenge a penalty charge notice (PCN) for parking with the local council that issued it.

Use the council’s postcode.

If you get a text message from Department for Transport (DfT) telling you to pay an unpaid parking fine, this is a scam. DfT does not issue parking fines. Read advice on what to do if you receive a scam message.
