There is a telephone in the lobby of the Consulate General for consular customers to call our contact centre. Access is available from 0900 to 1200, Monday to Fridays (not including public holidays).
Disabled access - entrances
- all entrances are clear and unobstructed
- there are stairs in ground floor area but there is access to the lifts via Wyndham Street entrance
- a lift to all floors is available and Braille buttons in lifts; access only available 9am to 12pm, Monday to Friday excepting public holidays
- no public toilet facilities in building but cafés in Wyndham Street provide facilities for paying customers
- the Wilson’s car park facility on Wyndham Street has disabled car parks available
- all floor coverings are safe and even
- handrails are on ground floor stairs and in lifts
- there is good lighting and our signage is clear
- phone is available for consular customer use
For visually impaired visitors
- there are no braille signs
- guide dogs are welcome
For hearing impaired visitors
- there is no hearing loop
- there are no minicom or textphones
- no staff trained is currently trained in BSL
- interpretation can by arranged by customer if required
- hearing dogs are welcome
