Patisserie Holdings PLC
In October 2018, the SFO launched an investigation into suspected fraud offences concerning Patisserie Holdings plc (“PHp”), the parent company of high street bakery chain Patisserie Valerie.
In September 2023, the SFO issued charges against the former Finance Director of PHp, Christopher Marsh, his wife, accountant Louise Marsh, as well as Financial Controller Pritesh Mistry and financial consultant Nileshkumar Lad.
All four defendants have pleaded not guilty on all charges. Trial date currently set for January 2028.

09 February 2026 - Trial relisted for 4 January 2028.
26 Apr 2024 – All four defendants pleaded not guilty on all charges, at Southwark Crown Court. Trial listed for March 2026.
10 Oct 2023 – All four defendants attended the first hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court.
13 Sep 2023 – SFO brought fraud charges against four individuals.
12 Oct 2018 – SFO investigation announced.
