Home REIT
The SFO is investigating the past management of Home REIT in relation to suspected fraud and bribery in the social housing sector.
On 14 January 2026, the SFO announced a new investigation into the past management of Home REIT – investigators made six arrests, and searched homes in Altrincham, Maidenhead and London as well as a commercial site in Manchester. A further search of a home in Venice has also been conducted, working with Italian law enforcement counterparts.
