AOG Technics Ltd

The SFO launched an investigation into suspected fraud at aircraft parts supplier AOG Technics Ltd in 2023.

From 2015, UK-headquartered AOG Technics supplied parts for passenger aircraft engines around the world.

On 4 August 2023, the UK Civil Aviation Authority and European Union Aviation Safety Agency issued safety notices to alert owners, operators, maintenance organisations, and distributors of suspected unapproved parts distributed by AOG Technics. On 21 September 2023, the United States’ Federal Aviation Administration issued a similar notice about parts distributed by the company.

On Wednesday 28 May, the SFO charged Jose Alejandro Zamora Yrala with fraudulent trading. He was accused of operating AOG Technics for a fraudulent purpose and appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 2 June 2025.

On 1 December 2025, Jose Alejandro Zamora Yrala entered a guilty plea to this charge at Southwark Crown Court. This concludes the SFO’s substantive investigation into AOG Technics. The proceeds of crime case remains ongoing.
