FinOps community
Financial operations, or FinOps, is a practice that encourages finance, business and software engineering teams to work together to manage cloud costs.
The FinOps community aims to:
- foster collaboration among professionals across the public sector
- share insights and best practice
- accelerate FinOps maturity
- improve cloud financial management and accountability
Who the community is for
This community is for:
- people with dedicated responsibility for FinOps in their departments
- cloud engineers specialising in cost optimisation
- commercial and finance specialists managing cloud spend and bills
- anyone with a technical interest in using FinOps in government
Get involved
To get involved with the community you can:
- sign up with the xGov Communities form
- join the #finops channel on the UK Government Digital Slack with a Slack account that uses your government email address
