This report is an evaluation of DFID’s country programme in Mozambique over the period 2000 to 2005. DFID’s aid to Mozambique represents 6% of aid to Africa over the period and totals £181m.
The purpose of this evaluation is to inform future DFID strategy by assessing the results of DFID’s policies and programming on gender equality and women’s empowerment and any consequent effects on poverty reduction.
