This related to the use of aluminium bolts to hold the steering rack and motor in place which subsequently are at risk of corrosion and indeed the DVSA handled this complaint following numerous complaints of power steering failures. I understand the DVSA concluded this did not necessarily require a product recall however also that the DVSA were advised by the manufacturer that they intended to resolve these issue on a 'fix on fault' basis.I am seeking to confirm if this is accurate and furthermore to access the information regarding this investigation.
