Addressing health inequalities in infection and antimicrobial resistant infections: a UK-wide collaborative toolkit

Care leavers and vulnerable young people

Resources for addressing health inequalities in antimicrobial resistance for care leavers and vulnerable young people.

Care leavers and vulnerable young people may be disproportionately affected by drug-resistant infections due to instability in housing and support, barriers to accessing healthcare, and increased exposure to risk factors. These are factors that intersectional AMR research identifies as drivers of inequitable AMR exposure and outcomes.
