Strategic Command at DSEI 2023

Strategic Command will have an exhibition stand at this year’s Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) at ExCeL, London from 12-15 Sep 2023.

Strategic Command at DSEI 2023

At Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2023, Strategic Command will be showcasing our work in Integration and Digitisation.

This will include our work exploiting technology for operational advantage, leading the Cyberspace and Electromagnetic Domain, and developing the workforce of the future.

Strategic Command develops cutting-edge and resilient capabilities, empowered by the rapid advancement in technology, and personnel will be on hand to discuss how we use these for the benefit of the Defence.

At DSEI 2023 there will also be the opportunity to learn about how we are delivering an integrated force, by collaborating across Defence and Government and with industry, academia, and international allies and partners.

Strategic Command leads the cyber and electromagnetic domain for UK Defence.

Strategic Command in 2023

At Strategic Command our responsibilities are far-reaching, from training personnel and ensuring they have the right medical care, to leading Joint Force operations and supporting those on the ground with actionable intelligence.

Some of the things we are most proud of this year include:

  • Working with other single Services our personnel helped bring over 2,000 people home from Sudan, involving more than 20 flights.
  • Mobilising to send over 100 medical personnel to support the government’s response to the earthquakes in Turkey.
  • Allocating Capability and Integration experts to help deliver NATO Exercise Formidable Shield, which featured 20 ships and 35 aircraft.
