Access our support to help you win exports in new markets by developing commercial partnerships through our G2G programme of cooperation.

This content sets out how you can access opportunities arising from government to government (G2G) agreements signed by the UK government.

What G2G agreements are

G2G agreements are formal arrangements under which the UK government agrees to provide another government with access to UK experience. This can be for specific projects or programmes that yield economic benefits for the UK.

Opportunities through G2G agreements

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for G2G agreements across multiple regions including:

  • Asia
  • Africa
  • Caribbean
  • Europe
  • Latin America

We also work on complex infrastructure projects that span multiple sectors, excluding G2G opportunities in defence and security.

You should complete our online form below to be updated on live and future opportunities.

Background

The UK’s Export Strategy, launched in November 2021, announced that DBT would lead a new G2G function. This was to ensure UK businesses can access opportunities in critical markets around the world.

We are now supporting UK businesses to win exports in new and unfamiliar markets by developing commercial partnerships through government-to-government cooperation.
