Policy impact training for universities
The Open Innovation Team has delivered policy training to academics, professionals and students since it was established in 2016.
Our Policy Masterclass is designed to help participants understand how the policy-making process works and how they can maximise their chances of influencing it.
Delivered by experienced civil servants, the training can be tailored to any level of experience and any policy area.
Participants learn about how policy works in practice, how they can engage policy-makers and what tactics they can use to influence the policy-making process. Questions and discussion are encouraged throughout, and exercises help participants apply lessons to their own work.
