The UK does not have a trade agreement with Hong Kong.

Tariffs and quotas

The UK exports to Hong Kong on Most Favoured Nation terms under World Trade Organization (WTO) rules.

Controlled goods

The export licensing regulations for controlled goods will be affected.

Controlled goods include:

  • military items
  • dual-use items (items with both civil and military uses)
  • firearms
