Industry-led pilots have been completed on active trading routes with countries including:
- Germany
- France
- Taiwan
- Japan
- New Zealand
The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) commissioned a .
We also commissioned these reports, which industry partners carried out and published:
- UK-Japan trade digitalisation pilot (on the International Chamber of Commerce site)
- UK-New Zealand trade digitalisation pilot (on the Publitas site)
- UK-Taiwan trade digitalisation pilot (on the LogChain site)
The DTC programme supports UK businesses to replace paper-based commercial documents with secure digital equivalents on selected shipments. The pilots show that trade digitalisation can save businesses time, cut paperwork and reduce the risk of delays caused by document errors.
