UK Co-ordinating Body - Common Agricultural Policy - EU Regulations

UKCB co-ordinates the implementation of EU regulations across the UK.

UKCB co-ordinates the implementation of EU regulations across the UK. There are four basic regulations for the CAP. These regulations are as follows:

  • Regulation 1305/2013 on support for rural development
  • Regulation 1306/2013 (horizontal regulation) on the financing, management and monitoring of the CAP
  • Regulation 1307/2013 establishing the rules for direct payments
  • Regulation 1308/2013 (single Common Market Organisation (CMO) regulation) on market measures

Regulation 1310/2013 sets out various transitional measures relating to the introduction of these regulations.

In addition, Regulation 1303/2013 (the common provisions regulation) sets common rules for the Structural Funds, rural development and fisheries. The basic regulations are supplemented by a number of delegated and implementing acts
