UK statement on Sheikh Issa Qassim
Concerns raised with the Bahraini government
We are concerned by reports that the nationality of Bahraini Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim is being revoked, and we have raised these concerns at senior levels in the Bahraini government. We continue to strongly encourage Bahrain to live up to its international human rights obligations.
