South Africa UKVI customer satisfaction survey results
This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government
Results of the UKVI customer satisfaction survey completed between Sept 2013 and Nov 2013 show that customers are satisfied with our service.
Since the inception of a new online survey in September 2013, over 2400 customer responses have been received from the Southern Africa region:
- 88% of respondents said that they understood how long their application would take to process; of those who understood how long their application would take to process, 97% received a decision in the timeframe they were told
- 91% of respondents were satisfied with the time taken to receive a decision on their application.
- 91% of respondents were satisfied with the UK Visas and Immigration application service overall.
Recent changes to our services include a new commercial partner, Teleperformance.
New application centres have been opening throughout the Southern Africa sub region over the past month and continue to provide an excellent service to the public.

The new Teleperformance staff have been trained in line with the UK Visas and Immigration service delivery standards and will continue to offer the public an outstanding level of service.
The application centres have been redesigned with a new and fresh look, with a simplistic and “clean-cut” design.
