Manila launches the Great British Shopping Raffle

The Great British Shopping Raffle is back in the Philippines and is bigger than before! Shoppers who buy British will get the chance to win amazing prizes.

Up for grabs is a trip to the UK for two on Etihad Airways, to experience London as a global capital for shopping and fashion. The winner will also receive 4 nights hotel accommodation, pocket money from HSBC, Britrail passes from Baron Travel, a visit to Bicester Village designer outlets, match tickets at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, and luxe tickets to London Fashion Weekend in February 2016.

Other great prizes include a shopping spree worth Php 40,000 at M&S; Php 25,000 worth of giveaways from MINI Lifestyle, plus over 400,000 pesos worth of shopping vouchers and gift packs from participating brands.

British Ambassador Asif Ahmad is encouraging everyone to participate in the contest:

This is the perfect time to do your Christmas shopping. More British brands have been springing up across the country just in the past year, so your options are greater than ever. Filipinos no longer need to go abroad every time they want to buy British. Our brands have a global appeal tailored to the varied tastes of the Filipino market.

Thirty-four (34) British brands are participating in this promotion, which will run across almost 200 stores in Metro Manila and selected provinces. Promo period is from 3 November – 30 December 2015.

The participating brands are: Alfred Dunhill, Berghaus, Burton, Cath Kidston, Clarks, Debenhams, Dune London, ELC (Early Learning Centre), F&F, Hackett, Hamleys, John Lewis, Kurt Geiger, Lee Cooper, Lonsdale, Lush, Lyle and Scott, M&S, Mamas & Papas, Mini, Mitre, Mothercare, Pepe Jeans, River Island, Radley, Reiss, Sanders, Savile Row, Speedo, Superdry, The Body Shop, TM Lewin, Toni and Guy and Vision Express.

The GREAT British Shopping Contest is part of the UK’s GREAT campaign that showcases the best of British business and culture. The campaign is led by the British Embassy Manila and UK Trade & Investment with its partners, the British Council Philippines, British Chamber of Commerce Philippines and the British Alumni Association.
