Some 50 British companies including AMEC, Rolls-Royce, Shell, BP, Mott MacDonald, White & Case and CMS Cameron McKenna arrived to forge new business contacts with CEE counterparts. At the spectacular Lobkowitz Palace at the Prague Castle, adorned with GREAT branding and displays of British innovations, they were addressed by Baroness Verma, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Department of Energy and Climate Change and Czech Minister for Trade and Industry Jan Mladek. Several simultaneous business-focused round tables ran in the afternoon and individual partnership meetings were organized on the second day of the summit. The summit supported mutual business cooperation in nuclear, oil & gas and renewables.
