Patricia Flor, European Union Special Representative for Central Asia

Patricia Flor, European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, is in Kyrgyzstan. Today she is meeting Kyrgyz Government and civil society representatives in Bishkek. Tomorrow she will travel to Osh to assess recent developments there.

Patricia Flor was appointed Special Representative for Central Asia on 25 June 2012. She is responsible for promoting good relations between the EU and Central Asia to strengthen stability, cooperation, democracy and respect for human rights in the region. In her present capacity she visited Kyrgyzstan in November 2012 and February 2013.
