DPRK athletes compete in Asian Youth Para Games

British Embassy, Pyongyang supports DPRK participation in Asian Youth Para Games in Malaysia.

As part of the FCO’s wider work to maintain the legacy of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the British Embassy in Pyongyang helped sponsor four disabled table tennis players from the DPRK, together with their support team, to attend the Asian Youth Para Games in Malaysia.

This was a great opportunity for the athletes to compete outside of their country and to promote disabled sports more widely in Asia.
