Conflict Adviser and Projects Officer to oversees regional peace and security

The Conflict Pool Central Asia aims to achieve enhanced peace and security within and between states and their populations in Central Asia

The Regional Conflict Adviser and Projects Officer are based in Bishkek but cover the countries of Central Asia. These positions are funded by the United Kingdom’s Conflict Pool budget for Wider Europe. The Conflict Pool, created in 2009, is funded and overseen by three UK Government Departments, The Department for International Development (DfID), the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Ministry of Defence). The Conflicts Team manage a portfolio of existing projects and in December 2012 will be issuing a call for further bids under a new tranche of funding for 2013-15.
